Old gear that no one wants anymore? And the only people who have it are demanding outrageous prices? no no. Zkeys, Warsupplies, Diamonds/Onyx, Saphires, Rubies, cheap undedicated minipets, tormented weapons/armbraces, hero armors. Those will be things people will come back to buy. So those are safe investments. That's provided you even care to make money in GW1 once GW2 comes out.

Good pts Carnage-runner I forgot all about hero armors, there stackable so investing 1 or 2 stack isn't bad either.

another good ivestment is these pets:
unded ghostly hero
unded mad king guardian.
Reason why I didn't put up rift warden is because people sync ha everyday for hours and theres a large input of boxes (that contain these minis) atlhough most people are not aware. So I make them aware.

na once gw2 start all the hardcore player and player with ton of cash will go over to gw2. The player that are left are player trying to finish HOM, or new gw2 player come back and try to give gw1 a shot and do HOM. Both of those pool wouldn't have that kind of cash to throw around to buy those high price mini.
I mean even now their aren't that much ppl can afford to buy one. The rich cow / collector player most likely by now already have one. IMO is not a good investment to do, these rare mini is so expensive because rich collector willing to pay for it. Once their gone it is worth less.

No highend things will be worth that much. Or at least, they won't be easy to sell for profit. Best things to buy are things for HoM's. They will definitely maintain value and might go up significantly as more and more people come back to get that extra 3 points for the item they wanted in GW2.
